 KAM AGONG LAWAS SARAWAK

Lawrence Jayaraj & Kam Agong

Kam Agong Lawas Sarawak: A Voice for Justice, Compassion, and Change

For us, Kam Agong is more than a name. She was a beloved mother whose life and legacy continue to inspire our commitment to serve others.

The Kam Agong Lawas Sarawak Facebook page was created by Lawrence Jayaraj as a platform to share stories, raise awareness, and advocate for the people of Lawas, Sarawak. Together with my wife, Agnes Padan, our journey into social and healthcare activism began after the passing of our beloved mother, Kam Agong.

Her death became a turning point in our lives. What began as a family's search for answers gradually evolved into a broader commitment to advocate for those whose voices are often unheard. We came to understand that many families in rural communities face challenges in accessing quality healthcare, obtaining essential public services, and receiving fair treatment.

Today, Kam Agong has become a symbol of hope, resilience, and the belief that positive change is possible when ordinary people stand together. Our mission is to encourage greater awareness, accountability, and constructive dialogue on issues affecting the people of Lawas and the surrounding communities.

Through this platform, we seek to:

  • Promote awareness of healthcare issues affecting rural communities.
  • Support individuals and families who need assistance navigating public services.
  • Highlight community concerns and encourage responsible public accountability.
  • Celebrate individuals and organizations making a positive difference in Lawas.
  • Inspire civic participation, integrity, and compassion in building a stronger community.
  • Eradicate corruption.

We believe that meaningful change is achieved through peaceful advocacy, respect for the rule of law, and constructive engagement. Our goal is not simply to point out problems but to encourage practical solutions that improve the lives of the people we serve.

Every story shared, every conversation started, and every helping hand extended reflects the values that Kam Agong represented: fearless, love, courage, perseverance, and service to others.

As we continue this journey, we invite everyone who believes in justice, compassion, transparency, and community service to join us. Together, we can work toward a future where every person in Lawas is treated with dignity, every family has access to quality education, healthcare, and every voice has the opportunity to be heard.

Kam Agong's legacy lives on not only in our memories, but in every effort to build a more caring, just, and hopeful Lawas for future generations.
